ABOUT

I am an Oxford (MS) local, originally from Thailand (b. 1996). I work part time at my parents’ restaurant , Rice and Spice. I spend the rest of my time in the studio, amongst other activities. I am currently working out of a bedroom studio and sleeping on the couch in the living room.

Around the time of 8th grade was when I took off toward the direction of impressionism. I then discovered Leonid Afremov during freshmen year of high school. Heavily influenced by him at the time, I followed his footsteps. I ditched acrylic paint for oil, got rid of the brushes and picked up palette knives.

I always have loved art my whole life, but I am still very much in the early stages of transforming art into a business. There’s alot of experimenting to be done, and even more to figure out. Hopefully the time that I put into the studio will lead me to more complex thoughts and beautiful words to describe myself and my art. Until then, I’m going to keep it simple, trust the process, and continue to learn more about other artists.

“Palette knife painting is kind of like spreading soft butter on a piece of bread with your knife, except the butter is colorful and the knives are shape different.”
